Production lifecycle

Committed to creative excellence at every stage — and to stories that entertain while leaving a lasting impression.

  1. 01

    Development

Shaping the idea — research, story development, treatments, and the creative foundations a project needs before anything is shot.

  2. 02

    Pre-Production

Planning, scheduling, budgeting, casting, crewing, and logistics, so production time is spent on the work rather than on problem-solving.

  3. 03

Documentary practice

Filming with people, not just about them.

Documentary work carries a duty of care. Contributors are trusting a production with their experience, and that trust shapes how we approach access, consent, editorial judgement, and the way a finished film returns to the communities it came from.

Because NexWave also conducts research, documentary projects can be grounded in prior engagement rather than beginning from scratch on location.
